![]() ![]() ![]() On August 30, 2014, a barge load of clean concrete culverts and concrete structures were placed in the Northwest part of the site. On August 8, 2013, a barge load of clean concrete culverts was placed in the south-southeast part of the site. On July 8, a barge load of clean concrete culverts was placed in the northeast part of the 2013 site. On July 1, 2013, a barge load of 1100 concrete railroad ties was placed in the north-northeast part of the site. The deposit was made from both sides of the barge. On June 4, 2013, a barge load of clean concrete culverts was placed in the southwest part of the site. ![]() On May 24, 2103, a barge load of clean concrete culverts was placed in the west part of the site. The height of the deposit is approximately 10 ft. ![]() On August 17, 2012, a barge load of clean concrete culverts and a metal tank were placed in the middle part of the site, to the north. steel ship Semarca is on the south end of the site.Ģ012 - Site 2 Middle North Culverts (V02-12N3) The East Culverts are a small pile of culverts a few hundred yards east of the Center Culverts. In the early '80s, a few culverts were scattered to the north and northwest of the Center Culverts site you might be able to find these old culverts using your depth gauge or sonar. Several barge loads of culverts were placed near the center of Site 2 in 19. The site is approximately 12.5 nm offshore at a depth of about 75 ft. Site 2 is approximately 12.5 nm from the Bell Buoy at a bearing of 067°. It is our goal to investigate the northwest area of this site to get the deployments from the early '80s added to the map. By 2014, many additional concrete piles were added for a total of 9 marked piles. In 1994, a 76 foot steel ship called the Semarca was reefed. Many of these smaller deployments are sanded over. This area had numerous scattered concrete reefs that were deployed in the early 1980s. The northwest corner of the site connects with site 13. It is near Cracker Ridge, a few miles west of the Party Grounds natural reef. Site 2 is a very popular bottom fishing and trolling location. ![]()
